Ways to make electronic and paper tagging easier!
A couple years ago, Oregon Fish and Game took away all thermal paper tags and transitioned towards electronic tagging. They still provided hunters to "paper tag" by printing out their tag on printer paper. It was not the same! This movement caused a huge ripple affect. I watched many senior hunters, who many of us look up to, hang up their boots. Everyone was frustrated. They still are. I have tried both ways of tagging, paper and electronic. Both ways end up failing. Paper tags got soaked and the electronic app remains to fail.
That's why this year I launched a way to help hunters write down all their tagging information onto the Huntfluent Game Marker. Whether your paper tagging or e-tagging, you can still tag with confidence.
Here's how you do it:
After harvesting your animal, grab all your hunting information from your state issued hunting license and tag.
If your e-tagging confirm your tag through the app. (It should give you a confirmation # once approved. If the app will not work, CONFIRM your tag as soon as you get into service)
Use a sharpie to write down your Hunter License #, Full name, DOB, Unit #, Confirmation #, and Date Harvested onto the Huntfluent Game Marker.
DONE!
This makes it way easier for game wardens, taxidermists, butchers, etc to have all your info at hand, attached directly to your harvested animal! Each Huntfluent Game Marker is waterproof and comes with an adjustable 8 inch velcro strap. After use, you can save that adjustable strap and only buy an replacement marker!
