My 14 year old son and I went on a 3 day spring bear hunt with Katelyn. The knowledge and experience of the areas she has is amazing! She was always on time picking us up and taking us out to several units in our hunt area. The country we saw was amazing we hunted and hiked all day until it was dark all days. The preparation Katelyn had done before I arrived gave us a good starting point of where to look for game and their patterns. The effort she put in while I was there to give me the best chance at an animal was impressive. She has incredible vision which helped us spot game that's being still and blended into their surroundings. We did three- 12 hour days of driving, hiking, tracking, and glassing. This was a great hunt if you want to challenge yourself and also experience changes in hunting tactics and various weather conditions throughout each hunt day.

I really enjoyed the experience. It was an awesome first bear hunt for me. Having the help to get the meat to the processor and the skull to the taxidermist was really awesome as well. I wasn't able to shut up about this hunt for several days and still look at the claws daily. The hunt went exactly as planned.
